Are you an inquisitive student of Social Work, MSc or SJD with a passion for your profession? Then we have a great internship for you!
As an intern, you will support vulnerable elderly people with a migration background by providing tailor-made information and advice. You offer support, represent their interests, map out the request for help and, where possible, involve the client's network - relatives, cooperation partners and healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, nurse specialists, caregivers). You motivate and guide clients in tackling social problems as independently as possible.
In addition, you will take on the role of assistant researcher. You conduct research into the care that the elderly receive, analyze the causes and consequences of the elderly problems and support the client in preventing new problems. You will learn how to record interviews, write reports, edit reports and describe the assistance goals of your clients in a work plan. You think along in solutions without taking control. You will be part of a team and will receive guidance from a permanent and experienced practical supervisor.
For our Atlas Med/Care study, we are looking for an intern from the MBO Social Work course.
